Dr. Sourav Chakraborty is a General, Vascular, and Laparoscopic Surgeon with extensive experience in managing complex venous and vascular conditions. He specialises in varicose vein management and has performed nearly 100 VenaSeal Glue therapies along with more than 2,000 EVRF and EVLT procedures. His clinical work also includes venous ulcer management and diabetic foot care.
He completed his undergraduate and postgraduate medical training at SSKM Hospital & IPGMER, Kolkata, and holds advanced credentials including FMAS from AIIMS and certification in Coloproctology from the Royal College of Surgeons, London. Dr. Chakraborty is actively involved in academic and clinical advancement and has served as faculty at multiple national vascular conferences. He is currently engaged in research focused on postoperative steroid therapy to reduce allergic reactions associated with VenaSeal Glue procedures.
