Glue Therapy (VenaSeal)

Glue Therapy, also known as VenaSeal, is a non-thermal vein closure method that uses a medical adhesive to seal diseased veins. Unlike heat-based techniques, this approach does not rely on thermal energy, making it suitable for select patients with specific vein characteristics. The adhesive is delivered through a fine catheter under imaging guidance, bonding the vein walls together and stopping abnormal blood flow. Once sealed, the vein is gradually absorbed by the body.
